Aaaand....

Im Pregnant!

Quite the shocker for us considering I was on birth control.

I am still unsure what I think about all of this being as that I do feel like it is bad timing.

Larry is excited though so it is helping cope with this a little better. I think once I get an ultrasound and see everything, I might feel better.

Something about hearing/seeing that heartbeat and little baby move....

H1N1 Scare

Sunday my daughter went next door to play with her friend. No biggie. She does this all the time. She came back and said it was REALLY cold in their house and she had the slight sniffles. Later that night she developed a fever. I gave her some meds, and tucked her in bed.

She woke up Monday morning with a fever of 102 still. I kept her home from school. A few hours later she spiked at 103.5! I kinda paniced as that is NO good.

Her doctor was talking to me and insisted I go get her some tylenol and call her back in an hour. In that hour, her temp went down barely a degree. She wasnt eating, drinking, or urinating.

The doctor insisted I take her to Urgent Care. She had to wear a mask! Which she very much disliked.

They swabbed her for strep---negative
Then the doctor said she has all the symptoms of H1N1 and they swabbed her for that and said the would get the results the next day.

We went home with a perscription of Tamiflu and was told REGARDLESS of the results of the test, she is to take the full dosage of the Tamiflu!

This afternoon I called her doctor again because I still hadnt heard anything. And they looked it up in the computer and her test results where negative. But I have heard that sometimes those results can come back a false negative. Hence why we have to do the full dosage of Tamiflu!

Im glad it came back ok but Im still worried...what if her's is false negative....

She is ok now. No fever and acting normal!

Cross your fingers for me!

I do not like it Sam I Am...

Larry started work yesterday for the first time in a year and a half.

I dont like it. I am not used to being at home at night by myself with the kids.

I see you thinking, what the hell is wrong with this woman! You should be LOVING the time to yourself. And enjoying not having the man there...

But I am not. I miss him. I miss his nagging on me, or whatever else he may do.

/sigh

Maybe after a few weeks I will enjoy it more, but for now, Im gonna be a big baby and pout in my corner!....

BTW: I started ANOTHER blog...this one to help me loose weight. Motivate me...

Nervous!

I am sending my most prized possesion off to be serviced tomorrow. And I am NERVOUS!

My Nikon D60!! Im so worried about it making the trip across Lake Michigan!!!

I swear it better come back better than what I sent it or Im gonna be one peeved momma!

I love that dang thing. I begged endlessly for it LOL

I had the busiest day! And I am so ready for bed.

Field Trip to a Pumpkin Farm! from 9am-130pm
Came home got kids off bus at 3pm
Took kids to eat at Sonic because I wouldnt have had time to prepare a dinner, get homework done, and get myself ready to go to my first PTO meeting at the school. Where I have volunteered myself to be secretary. (What--my hand was cramping by the end--but Im good LOL)
PTO meeting from 6-730ish
Then HOME to get kids showers, load of laundry, kids in bed.

Now its 10pm and I am SO heading to bed!!!!
Did I mention I am exhausted? Doesnt help im still slightly sick....

Oh, Im better than you...

Not by a long shot.

But thats not my point. My point is people that make you seem like you think your better than them.

Case in point...

I have this "friend" that seems to be a little perturbed at me and I cant quite figure out why. I have tried messaging her, but I would get no reply. I would log into messenger looking for her and she wouldnt be there...

Well now when I do get a reply, it seems to be snippy replies.

Assuming that I have this super spectacular fabulous life, which really is not even the case. Considering I am supporting a family of 4 on the salary of a waitress...please tell me how that is FABULOUS....

But there always seems to be some sort of jealousy. Especially when asked what I am doing. Heaven forbid I should say something along the lines of "Oh im hanging out with so and so."

Hello! I have to do SOMETHING! I cannot sit in my house all day. And you live in a different town about 4 hours away from me and I dont drive, so please tell me why you feel the need to get all crotchety over something so trival as hanging out with my NEIGHBORS of all people...

Please grow up a little bit.

Don't Judge Me

As I sit here with tissue hanging out of my nostril!!

Im Sick.
And my nose wont stop! Its like a faucet that someone forgot to turn off! I look like Rudolph! And I know by the time that this is all done, my nose is gonna be chapped worse than....well use your imagination!

Whats worse:

My kids dont even give me a 2nd look when I have the tissue in my nose. Sometimes both nostril's are stuffed and they couldnt give 2 shits. I dont even get so much as a giggle.

Whats up with that?

Wanna know something mean tho...

I can sit here like this, but the minute they try doing it when they are sick, I tell them to get that crap out of their nose cause its just....well gross!

I. Hate. Fall/Winter.

I really despise this time of year. I just hate it and wish that we can skip it entirely. Either that, or I need to move to a new state!

*Its Cold
*Its Wet
*SNOW!!!
*Colds/Flu
*Darkness

Im sure there are more reasons, but guess what, I have a COLD so I cant even think about anymore reasons right now!

All I want is a bottle of TheraFlu Warming Relief, A Pillow, & A Blankie.

BTW: Did I mention I hate this time of year.
