My Birthday was the 21st. What a day that turned out to be.
I get "excited" over birthdays. But not so much for myself because to me, its just another day. Although it is fun to say "Its my birthday". But I never expect anything and I dont mind.
Larry on the other hand kept making a big deal about what a good day it was going to be for me...
I just blew it off.
We woke up for me to get ready for work...went to get into the truck and the window was broken. Someone broke into the blazer! Ugh! Not how I wanted it to start. We dont keep anything of value in the truck anyway because its not parked in the garage, but still...its the principal. And the little shi!ts that broke into it, stole the brand new jug (the big ones) of oil I just bought for an oil change! /sigh
So, I go to work, and oddly, it was busy.as.heck! I was hoping to leave early but that didnt get to happen.
Larry comes to pick me up from work and instead of going home for pizza for dinner like originally planned, he says I want to take you to dinner! So we go to applebees (thats a whole other post!)! We have dinner and then he brings me home! When I walked into the dining room, it was decorated for me! So Sweet!
Larry had things planned out in order of what I was to do!
First I had to check my email. Inside my email where pictures of my biological dad whom I got in contact with just after Thanksgiving for the first time ever! Then he took me to the table where they sang happy birthday to me and then Larry lifted the cake up and under it was a letter typed up. I thought it was from him. Turns out it was from my mom explaining things about why her and my dad did not stay together. Once I was done balling my eyes out! Larry told me that there was a piece of tape under the table that i had to pull and to keep pulling until I got what was under. So Im pulling the tape and a large envelope falls. I bring it to the top of the table and look at it. Its from my dad. I started crying harder. I open it, and there is a birthday card and a jewelry box inside. I start crying so bad that I couldnt breathe and had to actually go vomit. Then there was another package. From my mom this time. Also containing a jewelry box and a card. My dad got me a gold necklace and my mom got me gold dolphin earrings. Amazing! I cant begin to explain how awesome it was to get something like that from the 2 people that created me!
The rest of the night I just layed on the couch and relaxed. I have been having a lot of back pain lately and not getting very much sleep! This baby is kicking my butt! She is very active though which lets me know she is growing like crazy!
BTW: Have I mentioned Im ready for spring...Its snowing again....

You'd think by being pregnant I would update this damn thing more?
But no...what would I rather do?
SLEEP of course. Thats what pregnant women do right? At least this one does.
They say the 2nd trimester is supposed to bring you energy? Well I got screwed...because I think someone forgot to give me my burst of energy when I hit that lovely 2nd trimester. Not. Fair!
ANYWAYS, we are well on our way to baby-dom. I have a carseat, a stroller (which I found on craigslist BRAND new for $90--GO ME!), a high chair, and a bouncy seat. My next goal is a swing. OH and of course we have a crib thanks to my 7 year old who insisted years ago that I NOT get rid of it because SHE wanted it for her babies. Yes ma'am.
Now you have to fight your sister for it!
On another note, I really REALLY wish my dinner would hurry up because I put a pot roast in at 10am this morning...and it smells FANTASTIC...and baby says she's hungry...
thats right, Im blaming the baby....
